Tekshi69 Housed In Unit Where Inmates With “Infectious Diseases” Are Kept

LifeSavers-colored-hair rapper Tekashi69 was denied bond after being labeled a flight risk and is now being housed at the notoriously treacherous Rikers Island correctional facility in New York City.

But it gets worse: the rapper is being held in a housing unit typically reserved for inmates who are afflicted with serious, contagious diseases such as tuberculosis and hepatitis.

He reportedly will have a single-man isolation cell and won’t have any contact with other inmates in the unit, many of whom are battling various contagious illnesses.

But the news still raised eyebrows among fans, some of whom wondered why jail officials would house presumably healthy inmates in a disease containment area.

The NYC rapper is in jail on a charge of allegedly choking a 16 year old boy at a mall in Texas.

Tekashi69 is more widely known for his trolling antics than his music.

The rapper, who has beefed with fellow lyricist Chief Keef, recorded a video saying he wanted to reassess his life after his friend XXXTentacion was murdered last month in Florida.
