Some Folks On Twitter Still Unaware What “Stir Fry” Stands For

Atlanta rap trio Migos scored yet another impressive hit with their recent track, “Stir Fry”, in collaboration with 90s producer Pharell Williams, who has been very bust lately after coming close to being on a Hip Hop milk carton for being MIA for so long. But I digress.

Migos has built a trademark from catchy, simple, contagious hooks, song titles and phrases. “Stir Fry” is the latest.

After having already cracked the Billboard Top 5, “Stir Fry” is still building steam, and becoming a pop culture phrase that really has nothing to do with teriyaki.

On social media, folks outside I-285 seem to have a clear misunderstanding of what the ATL rappers were referring to in the song. Is Stir Fry about cooking, Yoga, or twerking? That’s what some misinformed folks seem to think.

But one Twitter user is on point with it:

Migos has single-handedly made a trap term a pop term, another nod to the trio’s growing influence.
