Maxine Waters Ain’t Neva Scared: “If You Shoot Me, You Better Shoot Straight!”

California Rep. Maxine Waters ain’t scared of President Trump or his army of MAGA hat wearers, some of whom have reportedly taken to making death threats against the beloved legislator, who has become an outspoken leader of the Democratic “resistance” against Trump and his White House.

“If you shoot me, you better shoot straight,” Waters said at a “Families Belong Together” rally in Los Angeles. “There’s nothing like a wounded animal.”

The president recently accused the congresswoman of encouraging violence against his supporters when she implored people who oppose the administration to “confront and harass” Trump White House officials if they see them out in public.

Waters has also promised to impeach Trump.

In return, Trump posted a tweet in which he told Waters to “Be careful what you wish for Max!”

Since that tweet, Rep. Waters said, she has received an increase in death threats–including one so concerning that it caused her to cancel an event in Texas.

But Waters is clearly not thinking even a tiny bit about standing down.

Maxine Waters represents the Los Angeles area and she first came to national prominence during 1992’s L.A. Riots.

She’s known for standing in the paint for what she believes in, and has battled a number of Republicans, including disgraced former FOX News host Bill O’Reilly, who accused Waters of wearing a “James Brown wig”.

Waters quickly clapped back and silenced O’Reilly with this: “I am a strong black woman. I cannot be intimidated, and I’m not going anywhere”.
