Man Feels “Blessed” After He Gets Back The $1,300 He Lost In Publix Parking Lot

Chris Woods, a Clearwater, Florida man, thought he was SOL (S*** Out Of Luck) when he LOST the $1,300 he put in his pocket between his work cell phone and his personal cell.

And he may have been SOL, except for the kind honesty of an unknown Good Samaritan.

When Woods went to retrieve his phone for a call, Chris believes, that’s when the money went BYE BYE.

But the unthinkable happened: instead of someone thinking the cash was their own blessing, they decided to be one for someone else and returned ALL of the money to the Publix where the money was lost in the parking lot.

“This morning, my neighbor from across the street came over beating on the door and said, ‘Chris you were on the news. They found your money,’” Woods said.

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office tweeted a surveillance photo of Woods, and FOX 13 helped get the word out too, and soon, Woods and his cash were reunited.

“There’s good people in this world,” Woods added. “I’m very blessed a good person found it.”

The person who returned the cash remains anonymous.
