Jim Jones Speaks On Not Speaking About Recent Arrest

Rapper Jim Jones and a small entourage got an in-house tour of Coweta County, Georgia’s jail facilities last week, thanks to a police chase and subsequent search that turned up some pills, weed, guns and $148 in cash.

Jones is presently out on bail, and could see penitentiary time if convicted.

In a recent interview, the former reality star and one-time member of The Diplomats rap collective, said he won’t be talking about the high-profile arrest, due to advice from his lawyer:

I’ve been advised by my lawyer, I can’t talk about the case. What I can say is that, one of the things that concerned me the most was… I wanted to get home before my son woke up. So that I could speak to him before he seen it anywhere else, because my son is my partner.” (“The Angie Martinez Show”)

Jones was a passenger in the car and allegedly told cops he asked the driver to stop but she kept driving anyway.

Cops took everybody in the car to jail.

Jones dropped his sixth studio album, Wasted Talent, in April. The album includes features with YFN Lucci, Yo Gotti, Jadakiss and others.

It so far has peaked at #131 on the Billboard 200.
